Recently, the newly-built tailings pond of Xisha Degai Molybdenum Mine successfully passed the safety "three simultaneities" acceptance supervised by the safety supervision department of Bayannur City and Urad Front Banner in Inner Mongolia and reviewed by the Hohhot expert group, marking a significant progress in the construction of the newly-built tailings pond project of Xisha Degai Molybdenum Mine.
The newly built tailings pond of Xisha Degai Molybdenum Mine is one of the key supporting projects for the 3 million ton beneficiation construction project of Xisha Degai Molybdenum Mine. According to the project plan and progress, recently, Xisha Degai Molybdenum Mine invited relevant experts from Hohhot to form an acceptance review team for the safety "three simultaneities" acceptance review of the new tailings pond, and invited the safety supervision departments of Bayannur City and Urad Front Banner to supervise the acceptance review throughout the process. The safety facilities design unit, construction unit, supervision unit, and acceptance evaluation unit of the tailings pond also participated in the acceptance review.
Zhang Zhiquan, General Manager of Molybdenum Mine, presided over the acceptance review meeting and reported to the expert group on behalf of the construction unit the overall construction situation of the new tailings pond project. Representatives of design, construction, and supervision units provided detailed reports on the design of safety facilities for tailings ponds, engineering construction, and project supervision to the expert group and safety supervision department. The acceptance evaluation unit provided engineering materials such as documents, specifications, and records required for acceptance review. After listening to the report on project construction and reviewing the acceptance evaluation report, the acceptance expert group went deep into the tailings storage area to inspect the safety facility design engineering situation, and questioned engineering and technical personnel in the design, construction, and supervision aspects around the acceptance evaluation issues, and received satisfactory answers.
After thorough argumentation and evaluation by the acceptance expert group and the safety supervision departments of the city and Qianqi, it is unanimously agreed that the new tailings pond project of Xisha Degai Molybdenum Mine meets the safety facility design standards and is approved for acceptance.
