On May 16, 2017, Wang Dong, Executive Vice General Manager of Liaoning Xinhua Longdayou Molybdenum Industry Co., Ltd., was invited by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Engineering Construction Standards and Specifications Management Office and China Enfei Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. to Beijing to participate in the first round of national expert meetings on the formulation of the "Molybdenum Smelter Process Design Standards".
China is the world's largest producer and consumer of molybdenum. In 2016, China produced 832500 tons of molybdenum concentrate (molybdenum Metallicity) annually, accounting for about 40% of the global output. At home, Molybdenite mining and smelting are the main industries. The main molybdenum production enterprises have a complete industrial chain of molybdenum smelting, molybdenum chemical industry and molybdenum deep processing, which has a great influence at home and abroad.
In recent 10 years, great progress has been made in domestic molybdenum smelting equipment and technical level, and multi hearth furnace roasting technology and low-carbon self heating Rotary kiln technology have been applied in production. The smelting scale of the enterprise is constantly expanding, and some smelting product indicators, energy consumption indicators, etc. have reached international advanced levels. In terms of ferromolybdenum smelting, the fluorine free formula smelting process has been adopted, greatly improving environmental protection and governance. In terms of energy conservation, the residual heat of molybdenum concentrate roasting is fully utilized.
China has established a complete molybdenum industry system, and advanced molybdenum production technology has been promoted and applied in large enterprises. However, in some regions, outdated equipment such as reflex furnaces are still being used. In order to promote the development of China's molybdenum industry, standardize enterprise behavior, meet the needs of project construction and technical transformation design of molybdenum smelters in China, solve the long-standing situation of no standard specifications to follow in the design field of molybdenum smelters, promote the improvement and development of the construction technology level of China's molybdenum industry, and make the construction of molybdenum smelters technologically advanced and economically reasonable.
According to the Notice of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development on Issuing the Formulation, Revision and Related Work Plan of 2017 Engineering Construction Standards and Specifications (Jian Biao [2016] No. 248), the national engineering construction standard "Molybdenum Smelter Process Design Standard" is included in the formulation plan, and the project approval number and serial number are Jian Biao [2016] No. 248-72.
China Enfei Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. has signed a contract with the Standards and Norms Department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development as the representative unit of the chief editor, and the China Non ferrous Metals Industry Engineering Construction Standards and Norms Management Office is responsible for specific management.
